Hyr Medical

Hyr Medical (hyrmed.com) was a HealthTech startup based in Ohio, United States, founded with the vision of transforming the medical staffing industry. They created an online marketplace to transparently and directly connect hospitals and clinics with doctors and healthcare professionals for part-time work, locum tenens, and telehealth, eliminating intermediary agencies.

By bypassing traditional intermediaries, the platform drastically reduced costs for healthcare institutions while simultaneously increasing pay for professionals. Additionally, thanks to key technological integrations for digital credential validation, they reduced hiring time from months to just a few days.

At Plum, we joined the project under a staff augmentation model in strategic alliance with PRECISION SOLUTIONS NZ, a New Zealand-based company. Through this partnership, we jointly provided the technical workforce and talent needed to continue the platform's development for a couple of years. Our team integrated into Hyr Medical's structure 100% remotely, providing the technological capacity to sustain daily operations and scale the product.

Although the product is no longer online today, the joint work between Plum, Precision Solutions NZ, and Hyr Medical is an excellent example of how we can quickly integrate into an existing global digital product. We provided top-tier talent and ensured operational continuity in industries with the highest standards of safety and efficiency, such as the US healthcare system.
